1939 Silverstreak 2 door flathead 6 with manual transmission
“The car was purchased in Oregon in 2004 and it is all original. I have slowly worked on restoring it to original condition to the extent possible.
It was in fair shape and still ran, but needed a lot of body work, paint and restoration on the inside. Currently, I am restoring the interior of the car -- headliner, dash, radio, upholstery, clock, etc.
The paint is similar to an original color shown in a 1939 brochure, but is a more modern GM paint called ‘Cranberry Metallic’.
I am now retired so I have more time to find parts and putter around with my project car.
Please e-mail me any ideas, resources or information about this vintage of Pontiacs.”
